Brioche French Toast

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the custard

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream (if using), sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Step 2: Soak the bread

Pour the custard mixture into a shallow dish. Place each slice of brioche into the custard mixture and let it soak for 20-30 seconds per side, allowing the bread to absorb the mixture but not become soggy.

Step 3: Heat the skillet
